Enquire about location

Internationally important coastal nature reserve. Access to Orford Ness is by boat from Orford Quay. It is remote shingle spit - the largest of its kind in Europe - with dramatic landscapes and rich history. The spit is littered with abandoned, derelict buildings and debris due to the fact that the peninsula was formerly administered by the Ministry of Defence. Among them are a deserted laboratory and power plant.
