The striking Ickworth house, with its classical Rotunda, East and West Wings forms the centrepiece of the estate and is surrounded by impeccably well kept pleasure grounds and gardens. The house itself is of neoclassical design and is owned by the National Trust. The surrounding land is comprised of picturesque woodland, meadows and fields and is home to a pavilion on a lake, a church and a unique monument to Earl Bishop.
