Hawkedon Village

Beautiful provincial village, 7 miles from Bury St Edmunds. In 2005 the recorded population of this tiny civil parish was just 120 and the majority of the village is classed as a conservation area. It is home to a number of authentic medieval buildings and cottages and its 15th century church is unique for being situated on the green. Local amenities are limited to a single, traditional pub.
