Wingfield Barns

Wingfield Barns lies in the Waveney Valley, just inside the Suffolk border with Norfolk. It is a unique venue, centering on a beautifully restored, 16th century Grade II listed, timber framed barn surrounded by studios & galleries.
While ‘domestic’ parking is limited on site, there is ample space for production vehicles and there is a large car park 25m from the front gates.
There are spaces suitable for production offices and phone lines & Wi-Fi site wide. There is a domestic kitchen and bar area, upstairs lounge space and open work space in the main barn which also has an adjacent terraced garden area and patio.
The main barn has a demountable stage comprising 6 units @ 2400 x 1200 x 400, there is also a static lighting rig and a Turbosound Inspire PA c/w all the elements needed for a small band, conference or presentation.
Studio 2 is a gallery space with a wooden floor, an attached workshop and a secluded office.
There is a technical supply company 20 minutes away with a wide stock of staging, lights, sound and projection equipment.
Local facilities include The de la Pole pub and B&B’s. The large village of Stradbroke is 5 minutes away South and the larger town, Diss is 15 minutes West of the Barns.
The coast, Aldeburgh, Snape, Southwold etc. are within easy reach.
The Barns are set in the glorious Suffolk countryside, surrounded by country lanes, wide open fields and, of course, the famous, endless Suffolk skies.
