The Granary

An attractive, Grade II listed, red brick Georgian building that was built in 1807 and restored by the River Stour Trust in 1989. Situated in beautiful and peaceful surroundings next to the River Stour yet within easy walking distance of the town centre and public transport links. The ground floor entrance foyer leads out onto the lower decking area overlooking the water and woodland opposite. The first floor function room, The Barratt Room, can accommodate up to 100 people with doors leading out onto the upper veranda which overlooks the lower waterside decking area and the woodland beyond. The illuminated roof timbers, ash flooring and red brick walls create a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
