The Red House, Aldeburgh

Former home of the English composer Benjamin Britten. The house is a striking red-brick structure that dates from the 17th century and has been carefully re-presented as it was when Britten and his partner Peter Pears lived here from 1957. The site is also home to Britten's studio, library and beautiful gardens and croquet lawn.
