Clare Town

Historic market town on the north bank of the River Stour. Clare is celebrated as an ideal representation of a rural village or town and typical of the wool towns long associated with East Anglia. It is home to plenty of historical buildings - the Priory, the Ancient House, the Church of St Peter and St Paul as examples - as well as B&Bs, pubs and shops.
